New pionus..minimun temporary cage size?

Well, I agreed to purchase a wc pionus. I dont know much about these birds. I have a caique and gcc conure that I just adore (see pic - the gcc is on the caiques cage and vice versa - I switch cages for dinner).

I have two cages on stands with play gyms that I bought to put in the living room for my boys to play on. They are new and about 20 in. x 20 in x 30in. I bought them cheap to support a rescue. Would that work for a cage for a few days until I got another cage/new home for him?

Also, is there anything special I need to know about caring for a pionus?

i'd say about anything is better than what he's in now....

found a website that said 24x22x24h is minimum for a WCP
