How much should a WC Pionus weigh?

I was wondering what is the average weight for a WC Pionus? I have looked online and seen everything from 130g-260g I weighed Monty this morning and he weighed 190g but when I feel his keel bone it seems to be sticking out just a little bit more than it should. I'm wondering if that could be from lack of exercise. When he flies he doesn't crash but he goes down, down, down as he is flying (only a few feet) and then kind of falls head first when landing. In his old home he had a cage with a playtop that he would climb on but from what I can tell he never really had a chance (or need) to fly anywhere.

Mine weigh about 230 - 260 when fully weaned. The adults I own weigh between 220 and 250ish. Monty seems a bit underweight for the average, but birds vary. Exercise will muscle him up and lean him out somewhat, so you might consider giving him some food additives to bulk him a little. Has your vet seen him and suggested a weight additive?

Thank you, I was so confused, lol. He hasn't been to the vet yet, I can't get an appt. until the 22nd but he's not a very big bird and he doesn't feel extremely underweight, just a little bit. He was being fed a seed/pellet mix which he was picking all the sunflower seeds out and leaving the rest except for the odd pellet here and there. Normally I would wait to switch his diet but when I offered him some pellets he dug in like it was no big deal so I've been giving him pellets only for half the day and then his seed mix the other half. He loves his veggies though, and spaghetti (found that out the hard way, lol). I'm hoping the vet will have a cancellation so I can get him in earlier. Thanks again!

Jezebel weighs in at 215 grams. You are supposed to be able to feel the keel bone to a point. If you can't, they're too heavy.

Jeze isn't a great flyer either. She wont stop until something stops her, like a wall or my hand if my aim is good.

I doubt a keel bone protrusion would be to lack of exercise.

I know you should be able to feel it a little, his just seems a little more pronounced than my tiels. He is eating fine and I weighed him again and he weighed 193g before eating and after pooping so he seems to be gaining a little bit. I just can't wait for his vet vist.
