I am thinking of looking for a white cap baby, and I thought I would come here and see what everyone has to say! What is the best thing about your fid?

The best thing I can say about Monty is he is so much more quiet and laid back then my other birds. He loves scritches and cuddles but isn't as demanding for it like the tiels are. He is such a good bird and makes me laugh every day. His newest thing is playing peek-a-boo only instead of me hiding he hides and then peeks his head out and squeals when I say "There you are". He's goofy, lol.

The best thing about Royal is he is so sweet and easy going. His temperment is so much more stable than my Senegal's was. He loves to observe the household from the top of his cage like he's the king. He's happy hanging out by himself or with me. And he loves showers!

My WC Pi also loves showers. She's a real cutie pie - very sweet and gentle. She does get a bit needy every once in a while (at least needier than I was expecting based on generalizations of the species) but she's nowhere as needy and demanding as my sun conure. There are a couple blogging Pionus (including my Mika girl) on Life of Pis.

I would have to say the best thing about Bernard (WC pi) is that he only starts making noise once we get up! He's so good when it comes to early mornings unlike my cockatiel who likes to sing very loudly at 6:30 in the morning :P

Bernard is also very affectionate, the only thing is he's a one person bird.. well in this case 2 person bird. He only likes me and my grand father, he will attack anyone else.

best thing about dreamer (whom I share joint custody with my daughter) is she is very gentle. She makes these really cute noises, sounds like a duck or a frog. She's friendly but doesn't like commotion. Oh and she is NOT a couch potato. She adores running around on a net and I can hardly get her to stay still on a play stand. When she's in her cage she is quiet and content to nibble on her toys, she is independent yet still affectionate and not needy. And in the sunlight WOW her feathers are beautiful.
