It's hard to say if she would do fine with a cage-mate or not... If she can't see well enough then she may completely reject the idea, and possibly hurt the other bird. You could try setting the cage up with various platforms and ladders to help her moving around... try handling her and getting her tame may help, as well as talking to her frequently.

Glad to hear you took in a blind bird :)
I would have to agree with Monica, it might not be wise to put another bird in with her..but then again?? Maybe having another bird cage close so she can hear the sweet chirps of other fids may be nice for her :) Good luck with your special needs fid :) Does she like people?? |
