shes cute!! meyers are one o fmy fave birds!! shes just a baby and going through a beaky phase. ignore it, or tell her "no" and give her a little earthquake if she bites down too hard, and it will go away, mine always do that around weaning time and for a little while after they wean. after she goes through that phase, shes gonna sweeter than pie :)

I have the same problem with my meyers but i think they will learn as they get older whats ok and what not.I mean they are just babies right now. And ive read that meyers can be nippy and they can start to bite a lot if they are allowed to, i think you just have to say no!, and put her away and eventually she'll learn. Mine would always try to climb up on my head but after consistant "earthquake" when she tried that she has now stoped.

mine never give me probs. evne when they are beaky, they dont ever bite hard, and the phase passses very quickly, i love my little meyers!! they are the sweetest, most gentle little parrots out there :) i train mine to lay on their backs in the palms of my hands, and they snuggle right up under my chin and stay there, they are so sweet :) to me, their beaky phase is nothing compared to other parrots.
