Our babies: one Meyers, one Brownhead

This is Jack, our new addition, he is a 4 year old Brownhead we just got last weekend. Sidney is our Meyers, and he will be a year old in March. We are slowly introducing them to each other. Jack has spent some time in Sid's big PALACIAL built-for-a-Too-sized cage, but so far Sid is really protecting the food bowls from his new "im not sure i like this guy yet" poi-bro, so we just do visits for now. They share the stand but Sid is the topbird there too.
We are hopeful that with time they will be buddies. Here are some pics, there are more in our Member gallery, even a great one of Sid being the boss with a good lunge at sweetheart Jack's tail. Any advice is appreciated.

Great pics of the "Poi Boys" Lisa! Just curious, I see you got Jack at 4 years of age. Is there a story there?

Yes, Jack has a story. My boyfriend and I were in the Poconos last week and we can NEVER pass up any place that has animals or birds in them, so we stopped in at a place where birds were being sold. We were told Jack was the FID of a couple who obviously took great care of him. He loves cuddles and kisses, a little handshy at times, but im sure its because he is still adjusting to his new home with us. Anyway, this couple had a child who was extremely ill and needed alot of attention and care, so they returned Jack to the place they purchased him in hopes he would get a new home for the attention he deserved. I thought that was loving of them. I told the woman to let them know Jack was getting a great new home. He was only back at the store 3 1/2 weeks, so he is doing pretty well. He is a love already, much gentler than Sid the Meyers. I have a soft spot for hard-luck cases as it is, so Jack is definitely winning me over quick!
