New sennie pics
we are almost a month old now, and you can just now see our pin feathers starting to grow on our cute little chicken wings :) and we are waiting for our morning feeding, hurry up mom!!

they are HEAVY!! they must weigh more than our tiel babies, OMG, LOL. they sure do eat!!

btw...did you see his white toenail?? the older baby on the right side has a white toenail on his left foot :)

no idea...this is the first baby we have had that came out with a white toenail. i think the parents have alot of extra yellow that not all sennies have, but idk if that could give him the white toenail. with other birds such as tiels, having a mixture of dark and white toenails means the bird is pied, but not sure about the sennies, since its so rare to have a pied senegal. one of the parents of these babies has white spots like that on his beak, so maybe it is possible that this baby and one of his parents could be carrying the pied gene, who knows i would just have to test breed them to really know for sure, and to have the best results, i would have to find a visual pied sennie to breed this one with, and that could be pretty difficult, just finding another pied sennie for sale, LOL
