bird behaviour is baffling me!

Hey everyone! I have a question about a behaviour that my Wally (Meyer's) is displaying lately...I have a theory but perhaps I'm way out to lunch...
Sometimes when he is totally happy and clicking his beak, he droops his wings down a bit. Enough so that I can actually see most of his back. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps He is a She and it is an invitation for mounting??? Wally does regurgitate some and is quite taken by me, and doesn't like my bf too much. Am I his (her) mate??? Or is this wing drooping a behaviour that I'm totally misreading and there is a different explanation for it? what are your thoughts?

How old is Wally? That sounds like a baby behavior when he wants to be with you. Yes you are probably the chosen one at least for now. Some birds don't like one or the other sex nothing to do with if they are male or female..

Wally is approximately 3-4yrs old, I'm not totally sure. He's been through a few homes already.
Today he had a moody day. Way more calling than usual. Drove me bonkers! I tried letting him out to fly around and get rid of some energy, which only moderately worked, he flew around and then just got cranky and I had to persuade him back into his cage before he chewed up my house (after refusing all toys). Then he just screamed some more. So I gave him a spray shower, which he adores. We did that for a while and he displayed new enjoyment behaviours which I have not seen previously, like hanging upside down. I thought Great! and hoped that he would stop screaming for a little while, but no. It almost seemed to intensify it. It was a frustrating day! Hopefully tomorrow is better...
