Senegal or Brown Head?

I am hoping you guys can help me out a bit. I have decided to get a brown head parrot, I had one years ago who I just loved and adored and have decided to get another one, however I just came across a woman who is looking to rehome her senegal. I always have a hard time on passing up on rehomes verse getting youngsters.

My question is what are senegals really like and how different are they from a brown head. My brown head was the sweetest and gentlest thing around. She loves head rubs and just being around people, she was very playful and could entertain herself very well. Ate sennies anything like this? I also heard that sennies tend to get mean as they get older is this true? I only ever heard that from one person, so that makes me question the statement.

This sennie is a 10 year old who is super sweet. He has no behavior issues or anything like that. He is super sweet and loves to be around people and also fine to be alone. She is rehoming only because she has 3 other birds and not enough time for them all.

Also, what is the average life span of a sennie? Anyone know?

that is a hard decision. I have both a sennie and a brown head.. they are both TOTALLY diffrent. My senegal is very playful and acrobatic, my brown head it sweet and cuddley.. doesnt really play much, but they both do fine alone all day when i am at work, and entertain themselves. All birds are diffrent.. saying senegals get "mean" is not true.. im sure some do get mean, but i am also sure many brown heads get mean. If it was me, i would give the senegal a home and see what happens.. and then later maybe get another brown head :) senegals average lifespan can be anywhere from 25-45 years
