It depends if there wings are clipped or not.
My female (1,5 years) weighs 130 gram, she just LOVES to fly. I train her outside in her flightsuit (recall-training). My male weights 150 gram, he flies but doesnt love it, he just likes it :). Before when I clipped their wings (will never ever do that again) they wighted 10-15 gram less each. They are in perfect condition (not fat or skinny) according to the vet. But their muscled can grow a bit more. ![]() Me and Alice outside after flight-training (recall), she loves it! |

Wow!!! Pretty Bird
!!!..........Elisabeth, I just weighed Sunny (one of my female Sennies) as you had me curious :) . She weighs 144 grams today, she is fully flighted also (I don't clip any of my flock either)...She is about 10 yrs. old. :)Last edited by Joel; 08-12-2005 at 05:34 PM. |
