senegal thinking owner is mate???

i got my sennie about 9 months ago. he has bonded very well to me, but sometimes he gets carried away. he tries to pick my nose with his beak, he puts my lip between his beak and licks it. he also licks me all over, including in my ears and on my eyes. he also always pukes on me...a lot. i'm just wondering if he could be under the impression that im his mate. and if he is, what can i do to prevent this behavior?

Definitely sounds like he thinks your his mate if he's regurgitating on you...my grey tries to do this at least once a week. Whenever she starts the head bob, I take her back to her cage and sit her down and ignore it. I'll pick her up again when she quits. I also try to avoid touching her back and just stick to head scratches since a pet on the back is a turn-on for birds. Hehe....sometimes they just get confused!
