Clara in her flight suit

Here is Clara, my baby Cape, in her flight suit. She is at the breeders and is almost 2 months old.

So very cute! I think training them to wear flight suits from the beginning is great.
I am waiting for my GCC and I also sent the flight suit to the breeders so that she could get her/him started.

Your Baby Cape is yummy!

Thanks! I also have a green cheek who is 6 years old that I adore!
I introduced a flight suit to him too late - at 3 yo and he was and still is petrified of it.
I finally sent it to a friend who had a new green cheek.

But the cheekie is small enough to go outside in a small little cage and the poops aren't so bad.

But I think finding a breeder who will do this is the way to go!

I know some folks can train an older bird with success however.

I am about to start introducing a flight suit to my 6 month old Alexandrine. She usually lets me lift her wings and wipe her so I am hopeful she will step right into it....but probably not. I just hope she is young enough that I can still manage training her to wear it.
