Oh Happy Day!

I've been working on body handling with Cougar, preparing her for her Aviator harness, and she's been letting me do so much! I have lifted her wings, been able to cover her eyes and handle her beak. A little scary at first, but she has been very cooperative. We've been working a little bit each day. I thought it would take so long, but she let me slip the harness over her head today! Just like in the video! OMG! I'm so excited, she didn't even budge! I was prepared to work on this with her all winter and next spring preparing for next summer. I didn't think I might be able to get her in it THIS summer! I'm not going to get my hopes up too high, but it's getting me so excited, she's SUCH a great little birdie!
