introducing birds

just wondering what methods keepers use when trying to introduce 2 strange birds, im thinking about introduing 2 of my senegals to each other.

ugh. So dependent on the birds.

Take a lot of time and patience. This is what I've read and tried myself. Find a neutral territory, someone recommended the dining room table :), another the bathroom. I like the table because I don't have to sit on the floor. When you sit on the floor they try to climb you.

Let them down at opposite ends, and watch! You may have to intervene. You will know if one is feeling aggressive.

I would say don't give up, just keep on trying.

I'd say just take it slow, put their cages a little closer together, and watch how they interact with each other, if they seem ok, put them a bit closer and watch them again. If they still seem okay with each other, let them both out at the same time, maybe on a neutral territory like Diane said. Watch them really closely, and again, like she said, intervene if you they're acting aggressive.

Just be ready for the possibility that they may never come around to liking each other
