Talking She's so smart!
I wanted to try to teach Cougar the Andy Griffith theme song whistle since she loves whistling so much. I found a clip of it on youtube and played it about 3 times. Then she starts whistling the first few notes! I didn't think she would pick it up THAT fast! She's such a smart cookie!

I spend hours trawling through youtube watching similar videos...

I sure will! I saw a video of a cockatiel doing the whole thing, it was so cute! But if a cockatiel can do it, I know she can get it!

My boyfriend teases me for this. He goes onto my account and reads all my most recent viewings out loud: "Talking Linnie", "Cute Conure Talking", "Talking Conure", "Dancing Parrots". I can't he-elp it! They're so much fun, haha.

Yes, my husband wonders what I do online so much.... but whenever he walks by he hears a bird talking (or screeching).

That's great! It sounds like you're having a lot of fun with your new baby! I think you should record it and post it!

I will, she's still testing out her voice and I don't like to do it in the morning when other people might be sleeping considering she does her morning call anyway.
