How much yellow does your Meyer's have?
I met a Meyer's last night I'm thinking of adopting. I'm curious, as he is said to be about 3 years old but has only a very few yellow feathers on each shoulder, and most of the Meyer's I've seen have very yellow shoulders. I had one years ago and remember much more yellow also.
So, is it just something that varies bird to bird? Show me photos! -SB

There are a lot of different sub-species of Meyer's; some have yellow on their head, some don't; some have a lot of yellow on their shoulders, other's don't; the belly varies from green to blue..
Here is a website that does (briefly) talk about some of them. Mine have a fair bit of yellow on their heads, Zuri having more than Petey, and some yellow on their shoulders, although I've seen some Meyer's with more. Petey's belly is slightly more green in colour than Zuri's as well.
