They drive me crazy

Why is it that I can't get my Senegal to play with a toy yet she has chewed through her rope perch that I have on top of her cage? It is chewed almost completely through on both sides. I guess Sammy decided that she needed the perch that is in one piece because today I found her on Dusty, the Dusky Conure's cage and him on hers. And she makes this chirp like she is so proud of herself.

LOL well you know they never do like what you give them, only what they aren't supposed to be playing with! As I type this Neko is chewing his play stand to bits. I dont think he knows that if he keeps chewing his little feathered butt is going to fall down.......

My Sennie is the best toy player I have :) She has "bucket-o-toys" and she loves them all. It's so cute.

My Meyers on the other hand is just a chainsaw, going through wood and popsicle sticks like she's making sawdust. <sigh>

I've tried popsicle sticks but she doesn't play with them. Now the wood blinds on the other hand... sigh...

My meyers Piper also has a bucket of foot toys that she adores. We recently moved into a home with a "sun room" alowing the birds to have free flight...but the fun all ended because Piper repeatidly insists on engraving her name into the lovely window and door trim...i was thinking of investing in some two sided tape to see if it will keep her off the trim!

What Exactly Are These "GROWLS" Senegals Do?

My Poi growls at me alot--is he in heat or what?? I find it fun, but if he's really mad at me--I'm trying to find out makes him mad or if its the color I had on today!! (Growled everytime he saw me today) Was it the color brown that I wore today?

You will most likely get more responses if you start a new thread with your question.
