Question Anyone Ever Have Your Senegal--GROWL???

What does it mean? The other day, I swore it was the color I was wearing!!(LoL!!!)
I can't still figure it out--what makes him growl at me or WHY does he growl at me!!! Anymore, I call him "my little growler"!!!

My senegal makes a growl type noise. Usually right before his "scream". Sometimes he makes it without screaming. I dont think its an aggressive sound though. Seems like he uses it as more of an exclamation. Its cute.

Sometimes my babies would growl when I would get them out to handfeed. I think they were a little frightened at first. It stopped with time. Remember sengals are of the african origin family. CAG's growl alot if nervous or scared.

My sennie growls on a regular basis. He mainly does it when he doesn't want to be picked up or taken off your shoulder. The growl is followed by a scream/screach/beep, and the a nasty bite :). I try to heed his warning with the growl, and not have it escalate.
