My rbp has a dull white coat of something on his beak near the top by his nostrils - like his beak is just dull or something. Is this something that I should be worried about? I've tried to do a bit of searching but haven't found any names for what that might be if it's anything. I think I am overly worried right now, so I thought I had better ask.
Looking at other rbp pictures some have the same thing going on with their beak. But I'd like to learn why this happens and what I can do to possibly get rid of it if it is a heath concern Last edited by renaelock; 10-25-2009 at 03:55 AM. Reason: more research |

I enlarged the pic, and it does look unusual. Why not get a test done at the vets just to be safe. If it's dryness like Pepper gets sometimes, you can use cold pressed organic flax seed oil and rub it in.
