I don't know of any breeders in your area, but the easiest way to find breeders is to go to google and search for breeders in or near your area. Then click on any and all sites that might give a list of breeders. You might find a site that has a list of breeders or a site to one breeder specifically. If you can't find any in your area and are out of travel range, you could always consider a more distant breeder that ships (but then you wouldn't really get to pick out your new baby from how they respond to you). Good luck, and be patient, it typically happens (with me anyway) that when I am looking for something, I have the hardest time finding it until I finally do - then they (in your case breeders) are everywhere! Good luck!!!

This is probably a good sign, as they don't seem to be breeding their birds around the clock.

I know the feeling of waiting...I found someone who might have Red-bellied babies in the spring as well. She's a few hours drive away from where I live, but I can't seem to find anyone closer. I'll be meeting her this week-end though.

Totally agree, what's wrong with waiting a few extra months when you've already waited for a while. Gives you the opportunity to save more money and get more stuff before getting your new bird :)
