It does not matter how short I clip popper's wings she can fly anyway. She has always been clipped and she has learned to fly with out them. My pied tiel has had a broken wing and can't fly. and the quaker is clipped also.
This will be hard to believe but my cats really like the birds. They have never bothered them. The pied that can't fly tries to sometimes and goes to the floor. My white cat Buddy comes to me where ever I am to get me and takes me to her so I can put her back on her cage.
Now when you say that they gently nip you to get you away from the danger this is not at all what is happening. he lunges at my son and when he can't get to him he bites me. I'm not talking about a nip, this is hard and very painful.
I hope everything soon will calm down and be peaceful but I'm afraid this is not going to happen.
