how many eggs?

How many eggs do quakers lay at a time. Peewee has layed 2 now. I heard that they come in threes. Is that right? Well she is protective of it but has never been around a male quaker. how long can I let her sit on it? I know that it will start to stink after awhile right? I took the first one out but the 2nd is still in there. :P

I've actually read that they lay on average between 2 and 6 eggs each time.

Well she did lay 3 and has been sitting on them about a week. I don't think that they will hatch I've had her about 3 months but I don't think she has ever been around a male quaker.

Yes I'd say if she hasn't seen a male in 3 months then they're definitely not fertilised eggs! I don't know very much about egg laying, but I would suggest you look into whether leaving them where they are or removing them is the better option. I'm sure you will find info on the web.

eggs

1 to 5 eggs they are not fertile i would leave them in for 2 weeks and trash them.

Usually younger birds will only lay 1 or 2 eggs and will lay more as they age its the same with most parrots.
