Quakers in shower?

Does anyone take their quakers into the shower with them?

Thanks!

I haven't but not for any specific reason. Pumpkin baths in wash basin that I put in the kitchen sink so when he splashes he doesn't make a huge mess.

Yes, I take Mikey into the shower about twice a week. He doesn't seem to particularly love it. But he'll sit there. He really prefers to take his own "bath" when HE wants to, in his water bowl. He dips his feet, then his tail, head, etc, and has a great time!

I used to take my departed QP into the shower. She would sit on her perch like a cement bird. I haven't tried it with my new baby. I have miisted him though and he is ok with that. When he calms down I fully intend to shower with him.

Our 6 year old quaker "Lily" is our only one that will even get near running water! When I wash dishes she jumps in the sink and twirls around in the sink drain ( so cute ). The other two will only use their bird bath bowls. I've seen perches made for birds to go in the shower before though.

YES! i do take my quaker into the shower with me! i usually fill a large tupperware container with warm water and she plays in it, but she enjoys the shower too! I just put her on the top of my curtain rod cuz for her to actually get hit by the water is too hard for her. Otherwise, she loves it!

well here goes my Quaker went nuts biting me hard enough to bring the blood and wouldn't stop so I put him in his cage for a while. let him out and as I was taking out the garbage he flew over my head and out it was rainy cold and wet here and that was 3 days ago I am just sick. Every day is sad and lonely. My kermy was like none other. A boy,he would fly with an empty pop can and spoon to his three tier shelf and stack his cans and ladders from his cage all in a corner and drop them and fly down and pick them up it was his ritual every day he was loving and I am just beside myself with grief. Someone help??????????

My husband does. He sings the "wet feather" song as he puts Brockman under the water. Brock even sings along with him

Sometimes he sits on his cage and goes "Wet feathers!!".

He takes the cockatoo in also, she has her own shower perch.
