Wave, roll over, somersault, retrieve, put coins in a piggy bank, drop a basketball thru a hoop- the possibilities are endless.

That is the truth!

The only thing i can say is that treating/rewarding helps a lot! There are some movies out there that wil give step by step instructions on how to teach tricks(i cant think of the name of it right now, Sorry!)

The First thing to teach your quaker is to Step Up that is the most important thing to teach any parrot. You should be able to just offer your hand and say step up and have the bird come to you and step up on to your hand.

You may want to teach your quaker to touch a target. When your quaker touches it, say something like "good bird" and reward with a treat (such as half a sunflower seed, or a third of a peanut). Once you get that down with your quaker then you can start on teaching the quaker to pick the item up or pick up an item. Once the quaker picks up the item, take it from him and reward again.

You can check out http://www.ClickerTraining.com and get an idea of how you can do some things... You can also check out http://il.essortment.com/clickertraining_pbj.htm
