breeding problems

I got a proven pair of quakers March of 2007. They were sitting of fertile eggs when I bought them but then quit sitting on them when I brought them home. I expected this. Now I can't get them to breed at all! They are getting plenty of sunlight, extended hours. They were on an all seed diet before. Now they get plenty of fresh veggies, fruits, eggs, bird bread, pellets, ect. I breed cockatiels so breedings not new to me, just quakers! I was told to seperate them for a couple of weeks. They have been apart for about a week now.

Any ideas on how to get them to lay eggs?

Patience. How many light hours are they getting. What kind of light. Changing a breeding pairs life by moving them can hold them up for a long time - even a year or more. I know my p'lets wont breed if i take away their sunflower seeds, lol. You could try Aviagra, Ive heard it works but I havent tried it yet. Also, others have told me by adding more hemp seed to the mix....worth a try...
