Molting

I was wondering, is there a specific/approximate amount of timeit takes a quaker to molt its feathers? Or does it just vary with every bird?

I am not too sure but it does take a few months at least ...I don`t notice too much now with my guys as they preen each other so their are no nasty pin feathers to itch and annoy them ...

(Buddy the Quaker and Sunny the sun conure great mates...)
