I might be getting a quaker!

K so just to let everyone know i might not be getting Kiwi. A person called before me and if they dont call the lady before tomorow afternoon im getting her but if they do she said they get first choice cuz they called first. Because i want her so bad i offered the lady more money for her! I will be sooooo sad if i dont get her i was all excited and now this sux just waiting to c! ahhhh!

yeah it does suck but everything will work out just fine!!! just be patient and if kiwi goes to someone else than maybe it just wasnt meant to be for you and her to become best friends! hah that sounds stupid but its true!

bthomas cos you sun is high attention you have to give more attention to your sun as it most probably will have a jealousy issue (its a conure thing, most have it) and make out that it is the favourite.. quakers are pretty hardy, the ones at the petshop here had to be seperated from the princess parrots as they try to gang up on the princesses. If you have them both out then watch them carefully cos both can do a bit of damage to eachother but it should be ok. Quakers can pretty much adapt to any envrionment (hence why they are considered a pest in some places).

Adavis, if you don't get Kiwi maybe find a breeder so you can see it from when it is really little. I know the wait is hard believe me it is. I waited 3 months for Matches but because i went to see Matches every weekend it has come to know me so didnt stress out much when she came home. Got Matches home on Saturday (finally) and sometimes birds don't eat properly when thrown into a different environment but because Matches was comfortable with me she is fine. Also when she gets a bit scared she flies to me or somewhere close to me cos she knows she is safe with me. So don't worry if you miss out this time it just means there is a better one waiting for you somewhere. If you do get it remember people will be angry if you dont show pics lol.

Yea true true. I didnt think of it that way before. its hard to find breeders here in Idaho that have what im looking for but ill keep searching! If i get her i'll be sure to show everyone!!! hahahah

Yeah I saw Alex's at the pet shop but already decided i wanted one from a breeder. There were breeders around here but i knew this guy who had a really good reputation and the lady who hand weaned it gets paid to do it so she does a really good job of it. Was an hour and a half drive but well worth the drive and wait. I can't wait to get home to see my Big green baby!!!
