I might be getting a quaker!
So i found a green quaker for sale and ive been wanting another bird and she seems perfect Just wanted to know a little about them like noise level and needs etc. before i go ahead and get her. Any info would be awesome!!

They are cool. can be loud but arent too bad, not like a sun or anything, make a weird noise. They are a bit naughty in a cute funny way. Very cute bird though and can make a great pet.

They can make an annoying croaky sound and can be loud but compared to a sun they are nothing...probably not as consistant as budgies either but depends on the bird. They are really cute. My uncle just got a blue quaker and it is so cute! (personally i like the greens better). I was chucking up between getting an alex or a quaker...based on the info the alex was best for me but the quaker is a great bird too, my brother will probably get one one day.

sounds good to me!!! the one i want is named Bob right now and he loves to say thank you. the guy said that he is kinda naughty about biting people, he only likes 2 out of the 6 people in the house and he never bites them but bites everyone else. would that be hard to cure?

Yea i have 2 budgies and they were a little loud when i had the 3rd budgie cuz even tho they were in seperate rooms they would call to eachother and it was a little loud but more annoying cuz it was constant noise. Im way excited to get my first quaker!!! I got a tiny bit scared cuz i was just holding my cousins (bthomas) sun and he bit me. hard. my finger was red and had a heartbeat for a while but oh well i got over it i just called him rude! just joking around but yea. Thanks for all your help!

They can be a little nippy but not conure nippy. Really Quakers are really good birds, you will have a ton of fun with it.
