Yea i was thinking it sounded a little expensive, but even if i get ripped off a little bit i think its worth it because i want one so bad. I was thinking about getting a GCC but im going with a quaker! i only need $100 more and im going to do everything i can to get it!! I've already got a cage and i made a ton of toys for the quaker i was supposed to get, so that leaves me with food and thats it i think, but if theres anything else u think i should know/buy im totally open for suggestions!! thanks!!

You will find it will be worth every cent, they are beautiful and loving parrots. I paid $350.00 Australian for Charlie, he is a blue and they cost more, I couldn't get a green one. He brings me joy every day.

I have probably spoiled arnold but he is in an 18x18x24 cage and I am told that is really big and i only have two toys in there . I wish I could afford more toys but they are so exspensive . My friends told me to go to a garage sale and remake baby like toys like rattles and stuff and hang them in the cage they dont know it is for a human baby . it kinda makes sense though . good luck with your new baby .

Good Luck!! I'm sure if your really want a quaker you will come up with the money. I love my little Charlie he is the greatest. I paid $250.00 for him at a pet store and he is well worth every penny.

I totally agree with u! me and my cousin went to walmart and bought pony beads and made some really cool toys, well i think they are , I think i spent like $10 bucks for everything, check out our thread in BB discussion titled "look at the toys we made and more toys" hopefully that will give u some ideas. A 1lb bag of pony beads @ walmart is like 4 bucks and they go a long way!!
Me and my cousin are making a list of stuff i can do to earn money for "my" new fid. Im doing everything possible to get the money!! Thanks for everything!!
