Seeing wild Quakers in Brooklyn

We have a one day layover in NYC on the way home from South America. I would really like to see the famous Brooklyn Quakers. From what I understand, they hang out at the Brooklyn College. If anyone is familiar with the local area could you please tell me if this is the right bus to get there?

Q15 (orange colour on MTA map) from JFK to "New Lots". Change to Q6 to Brooklyn College.

Is this the best place to see the wild Quakers? Is it a safe area? I want to shoot video footage of them so I don't want to be in an unsafe area or anything like that.

Does anyone know a better place to see them?

(Correction to above-used wrong map. Please disregard above post)

Bus 15 (purple colour on MTA Brooklyn map) from JFK to "New Lots". Change to # 6 (red colour on Brooklyn MTA map at Ashford St) to Brooklyn College.
