I called her vet
I called her vet and made an appointment and was getting her ready to leave and she died in my hands. This my birthday so I will never forget the day that I lost my best friend. I loved her sooooo much. I can't stop crying.her name was PeeWee. I will miss her so. every morning she would call me when she wanted to get up. She would say "comere I love you." I'll miss that every morning. Well I'm too sad to write anymore.

I'm really sorry you lost your baby.
In the future please don't hesitate to get vet care. Birds are experts at hiding illness. In the wild they do this to deter preditors, it's an instinctual trait, all birds do it. Sometimes by the time we notice something is really wrong it's to late. Although there are many people on forums that are experienced bird owners. Unless they are also a Certified Avian vet, most will recommend you get the bird to a vet ASAP. You did your best, and your baby knew she was loved. I'm sorry it happened on your birthday, but I bet she's sitting on your shoulder right now giving you kisses.

Thanx to all
Thanx to all that took the time to care. Well The vet said it was inside tumors and there was nothing that I could have done. The vet said that there was no way that I could have known and there was nothing that they could have done for her. They said that if I would have brought her in sooner they would have suggested that they let me put her to sleep so I'm glad I was with her in her last hours. I miss her so much today, my heart is hurting.

A few years ago, I lost my Blue Front Amazon like that. I did take him to a vet, but it was too late. We had him in for a annual four months before he had died and nothing seemed wrong with him, even with his blood test he seemed normal. These things just happen. He passed to the rainbow bridge in my arms. We re-homed a very sweet Lilac Crown Amazon to fill his cage after a few months.
