Tippi wants NOTHING to do with fresh fruits

Here is Tippi getting as far away from his yum yums as he can!! lol

Chicken LOVES them, I have no clue how to get my stubborn little guy to eat the good stuff. He'll eat dried fruits and his pellets, so not too stressed, but would love for him to eat the fresh stuff. Have been battling for 2 months, took a 1.5 week break and are trying again, any suggestions. I've tried hiding it in his food dish and he throws it out then yells at me, I've tried eating it and then give him stuff, he throws it and yells at me....................... ugh!

My Quaker wasn't a big fan of fruits during his first year. Things that he wouldn't go near he began to try as he got older. I found that introducing one fruit at a time seemed to go better than mixtures. To this day he doesn't like blueberries and I can't figure out why. Good Luck!

Thank You, at least I still have hope. This morning was the first time we have tried the mixture, figured if I gave him variety he might like at least one of them, lol. I'll just keep offering them everyday until he finally eats them, at least now I have Chicken to feed so I'm not completely wasting all this fruit, lol

Our Tiki isn't too fond of fruit either but he loves pasta and veggies. It took a while to get him to try anything but once he tried them he loved them. Luigi would not touch anything finally we would give him a bowl with the veggies, pasta and fruit and sprinkle his favorite seeds among the mixture. We would take out his other food bowl when we put this in his cage. He would venture over throw all the "good" food out and eat the seeds. After a few days it took him longer to throw out the other stuff as he would taste it a bit before dropping it. Now he eats everything LOL but it did take a while!
Maui won't touch the fresh stuff unless it is on a kabob hanging in the cage. I think he could be starving and wouldn't eat it unless it was hanging there. We tried every shape, size, color, mixture, cooked, uncooked, dried and he wouldn't touch it. Then we hung some on a kabob and he went after it the first day. So if after a few days of trying the same mixture he won't eat it try some different mixtures or different sized/shaped pieces and see if that gets his interest.

I made them Birdie Cereal for the boys this morning with Rolled oats, fresh ground Almond butter, raspberries, kiwi and banana and Tippi actually ate it, not sure if he knew he was eating fruits, but the lil bugger ate some!!Yesterday after I wouldn't remove the plate of veggies/fruits and much protesting from Tippi, he threw the plate to the floor and it broke so we are off today to find some small plastic or unbreakable plates for them, lol. Neither will eat stuff I make them out of a bowl, has to be a semi flat surface.
