Talking im getting a quaker!

hey guys along with having baby huey, im getting a baby 8 week old green quaker......im so excited. now ive had a quaker before but.....he was a mean little devil and i found him a better home. ill be feeding it formula. and i need to read up on quakers as my memories of quakers is a bit fuzzy. should i get a male or female? baby huey (B&G) is a male. so should i get a female? i really want a female. i already joined quakerparrots.com just waiting for the approval. im just super excited. i get her next friday from a breeder. i get to choose one out of 5. so hopefully i get a female. if there are any sites you recomend or threads on here let me know!

mucho love!

missy and baby huey

i;ve figured everything out. i started weighing her and i called a dear friend of mine to figure out how to take care of this little one. she gave me lessons on how to feed and proper care and such. everything is riding smooothly.

Wow..I really wish breeders would stop selling unweaned babies.
Did your friend tell you about temps and how much to feed? what brands are good to feed? Do you know about Fistulas and what to avoid to prevent them?
