Getting a quaker to wear a flight suit

I have a quaker parrot named Holly. She is 8 months old and can be stubborn a lot of the time. I brought he some flight suits (bird diapers) so that I can take anywhere in the house and have to worry about poop. I would also be able to take her outside. When I first got them she was afraid of them. I do not understand why because she loves to chew and play with fabric and I can rap her in a towel after her bath without a problem. I managed to get he to stop being a fraid of them but when my mom and I put it on her she just chew the back encloser trying to get it off and will not play or eat treats no mater how much attention we give her. Does anyone know how to make her like the flight suite and like wearing it?

i havent had experience with using a flight suit with my bird, but as they appear to be such an unnatural thing for a bird i would suspect that you will probably have major problems getting your bird to accept it ... would you consider 'toilet/potty training your bird instead of using the suit. there is heaps of advise here on using that technique, which i probably would lean towards rather than the use of a suit.
anyway, good luck and i am sure you will get heaps of help from more experienced bird owners....
