Well, for starters, do you know the sex of the newbie? If not, were you leaning towards naming him/her as one or the other, or were you planning on something more neutral?

Well, if you're looking for something on the more 'boyish' note, how do you feel about...

Chester? (I love it! lol)
Quincy?
Quin?
Teko?

Let's see... for a precious lil' girl, how about something ultra girlie, like...
Petunia? (love it, too!!)
Sabra (sounds like Sabe-rah)
Quinn?
Winnie?

Neutrals are always tough for me...

Moo-shoo? (Just cuz it's so darn much fun to say & you'd never get sick of hearing or saying it)

What is his/her current name, just out of curiousity?

At any rate, congrats... Gorgeous bird. So sweet looking... what a precious little face!!

S//he is not sexed yet. The former owner called him/her Katie. I probably will have the bird sex next week when I take him to my AV. I like Quin, Chester and Pickles for a name. Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Flattered you liked some of my suggestions... kinda glad you didn't like Moo-shoo... I desperately want a male rock pebbler/regent parrot and think I may possibly want to use it, lol.

OATMEAL... because that is what I would name a Quaker parakeet if my stupid state would let me have one ;)

I like Pickles (go figure) -- it's a seriously cute name for an adorable parrot, male or female. Quinn is nice, too -- it's unisex.

I like the recommendation for Moo Shu, too! Again: a unisex name AND it's fun to say :)

Best of luck!

Pickle, Golden-winged parakeet (brotogeris). DOH 3/22/08.
Beetle, Peach-faced lovebird (agapornis). 8/6/05 - 8/28/07. Always in my heart.

My tiel is named Miley, but I call her "pickle-butt" all the time. She even responds to it! LOL
