Smarty pants!!!

Our bird has, in less than a day, learned to step up. He's 2 and was never taught but yet now everytime I say step up he does it with no arguments (well very little arguements). He used to nip pretty hard but now he doesn't he just puts his mouth on your finger to steady himself as he steps up.

I can't believe he's learned it already, what a little smarty pants he is!

I am very happy with how he's turning out. I thought it'd take awhile for him to learn step up but he picked up on it really well.

Hopefully he'll learn to talk too eventually. I've been repeating things like good boy, bad boy, whatcha doing, hello, kisses, and love you. I hope he'll pick up on something. I'd love for him to be able to say something I'd love to hear his sweet little voice.

I'm so hopelessly in love with this little green bird already. I think it was love at first site, for both of us.

And you thought you wanted a conure. Isn't it funny how our opinions change when we fall in love?
Btw, That's great news!!! He's a keeper.

Yup he's definetely a keeper, he's not going anywhere. I think he's going to be a great family member for us.
