Smile New member! Finally a parrot owner!

I got my baby today... after long months of researching... I was planning on getting a Grey but the place won't have them for awhile. I originally wanted a grey but I've always loved quakers... SO I GOT ONE!!

I found a local breeder and they had two left, me and my dad got one. I'm in love. They hatched on August 18th I believe. They are still trying to get the hang of walking. Mine loves to cuddle up with me, still pretty shy of his/her cage.

She's cuddled up with me as I type this
Here are the pics!

Wait is he weaned? Most birds don't wean until at least 8 weeks and yours is only what, 6 weeks?

Yes, they're weaned.

Sadly they have splayed legs, I kept mine but my dad's was really bad so we brought him back, she's a rescue home.

I'm still in love with my baby and going to keep her no matter what. I'm just so upset... I didn't want to deal with this but I kept her :)
