Question about food...
I am picking up my baby quaker on thursday. One friend told me they can eat the same food as my cockatiel and another said no. Who's right?

I have a Quaker that eats cokatiel sized food. My avian vet told me that because they are roughly the same size they should be able to eat the same food. She also gave me samples of pellets by Zupreem, Roudybush, and Harrison's and some Nutriberries as well. They were all Cockatiel sized. My Quaker loves the Nutriberries but will not eat pellets. Hope that helps.

Quakers can eat cockatiel sized or conure sized pellets. In regards to other foods, such as seeds, they can be fed a lovebird/conure seed blend, but you want one that is low in fat, if possible.
