My little Piper

I have just fallen in love with this little guy as well as my husband. My husband really doesnt have much to do with any of my birds but Piper has got him interested. He plays with him every night when he comes home. His cage is sitting next to my husbands chair so when he sits down Piper goes and sits on the perch so he is right next to him & says Hello Piper. Im trying to get him to say Hello daddy. He will sit there and talk quaker talk to my husband as long as Doug continues talking to him.
He is eating so good. He eats all veggies and loves to be misted with a spray bottle.
The breeder I bought him from done a wonderful job starting him early on all these things.

See it was all worth the wait now wasn't it? :eusa_clap

And at this rate - Doug will surely be in over his head in no time at all. If he starts sharing his dinner with little Piper - you can be sure he's hooked. Then you can throw a tempertantrum abut how he "stole" Piper away from you and that now you need your own Quaker - and then you can get that Blue one too! :icon_lol:

Everything works out in the end doesn't it?

yep

Sure sounds like your breeder spent some time with your little guy:) Talks, like to be misted and is friendly, that is super dooper :)

Those quakers are little manipulators themselves!! They are VERY persistant also, I can't shake my guy if I have food..he is worse than the dogs!!!

Most times I'll share my plate, but sometimes he is a royal pain in the butt!!
