Talking Bonding w/ previously owned Ringneck

Hi,
I'm new here. I just adopted the most adorable Lutino Ringneck today. He's one and a half years old, and bonded with him right away! He's still sitting in his cage and getting used to his new environment.

So far, he's started talking, saying his name, flew out to me when I left the room, and eating...

I've spoken with his previous owner and am all filled-in with my birdy's history, etc. I'm just wondering if anyone had any advice on anything I should know about a bonding with a previously owned ringneck?

Thanks!

If you are already bonding with this bird, and know its previous history, I think you have all that you already need! If you know what the bird eats, its likes and dislikes, and how to handle him, I'm not sure what else we could offer!

good

Congrats, as it sounds like you have a very well socalized IRN. Very lucky to get a lutino also, they are so very beautiful.

Seems like he/she is already liking you lots so you are on your way to a wonderful realationship. Keep up the daily interaction and as Monica stated maybe figure out some fav foods:) Keep talking to him as I here they can have very good vocabularies.

Enjoy your IRN, have you shared a picture here as of yet, if not please consider posting one :)

I have one IRN, who is a wonderful bird but I do spend lots of time interacting with him/her (not sure if boy or girl yet).
