Hey guys...no I have no idea what she is...am hopefully getting an answer from a certian genetics adivisor at my other board.

I think I have a name...a gal over there gave it to me. It's Sundari, I'm gonna call her Sunni for short. It means beautiful in Indian...

Julie...her flights are a 'greyish' blue and when you shine them in the light you can see some varied shades of irrdescent blues/purples.

That sound right?

Oh and she doesn't have that 'yellow' head that yours does...did that bird come with that???

yes she come like that, she actually looks like she glows when the light isnt very good. but the rest of her body has the same colouring as yours especially the greenish colouring on her wings. Youre lucky that you got a tame one because most people use the different coloured ones to breed and she is a very unique pet

Very pretty girl you have there Julie.

I'm still going with turquoise for Dani's. If you look at her in the light do her colors change from green to blue depending on how the sun hits them?

Same here Ringneckmom...I am thinking some sort of turq. mutation...most turq. I've seen are darker though...so maybe a 'cinninamon' or some weird lighter shade.

Yes her bird is pretty

I found a site that had this info

The Cinnamon mutation is now well established. This bird is a lime yellow with cinnamon colored flights and tail feathers. There is also a double mutation of Cinnamon and Blue which produces a soft blue with a cinnamon over wash.

The Turquoise is a green bird with an overlay of fine, soft blue plumage that changes color depending on the angle of light striking the bird. The effect is almost iridescent and quite striking.

the site is BREEDING INDIAN RINGNECK MUTATIONS
