a question about coco

Hey guys... i was wondering about petting with coco?.. i know there reputation is that they dont like to be patted.. but that is the same with indian ring necks.. and my irn would be patted all day long if he could lol..
Coco is another matter but im not sure if its becuase he is still going through his moult..(he is actually getting some bright green feathers around his head now) and is full of pin feathers.. also he is hormonal.. regurgitating on toys etc.... i guess my question is two fold firstly he is fully flighted and he dosent really want to spend much time with just me away from his cage... unless of course he is getting some treat.. the moment the treat is gone so is he lol...
just wondering if there is something i can do for him to choose to stay with me longer?.. and is there something i can do to be able to pat him.. im not too worried about not being able to pat him.. but i would like him to spend more time with me...
what do you think?

i would say just keep trying. maybe take him to a diff room and play with him, and try to take him on outings with you, and car rides too. being in new "scary" places should help him bond to you as well.

Lol hasn't really hit me yet. I am going to call up the blood sexing lady today and see if i can drop in on the way home so it is all over and done with and can get settled in.

Lol isn't it just the way, you tell someone they do something then do the exact opposite. Lol little bugger wanted to prove you wrong.
