Helio is thriving!

Hi everyone!

Just a quick note to fill you all in on Helio...

He is "feathered-fun", plain and simple!

What a sweet lil' disposition my baby boy has.

Last night he was playing with my hubbie and I and you could tell he was just about to burst with excitement to have both of us all to himself. Gerard and I were sitting with our backs to opposite arms of the couch, our feet meeting in the middle. Helio was running up my thigh, up and over my knee, up Gerard's calf, up and over his knee, up and across his chest and would then sprint down the back of the couch to run down my chest and start all over again. He was so cute!! He even stopped a few times to hop on over to the coffee table, perch on my glass, take a few sips of water and then came back for more... he looked as though he was running on one of those oval off-road race tracks... like BMX without the bike. My goodness he was funny... him and those big footsies of his... what a riot.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww, I bet that was alot of fun. I can't wait to get Chief home. Hope he is as good as Helio. Enjoy him and spoil him rotten.(I know you will)

That is so cool. Davey is more of a couch potato. He just wants to hang close to me and be pet. By the way, did Helio's name come from the dancing race car driver?

Funny you should ask... actually I just thought about the name "Helio" and really liked it, but then, you're right... the more I thought about it I wanted him to have the same infectious personality & smile as the dancing Helio , so that clinched it!
