Another question about Dotty

I have a male and female cockatiel and a bonded pair of male budgies, but Dotty is on her own.
Today she flew around the room for a bit then went and sat next to the cockatiel/budgie cage for a long long time. I cant let her in with the other birds because shes a bit rough and pulls their tails if she can catch one and they dont come out of the cage because they arent tame and its a really big cage.
My other half keeps asking me if Dotty is lonley as she seems to love being near the other birds. Do you think she is lonley, she didnt live with any other birds that i know of before i got her.
She keeps doing her stevie wonder impression, i have tried to attach a clip, im new to this it seems to go there if you click the blue square with a question mark, at the bottom, sorry about the angle.
Is she just feeling the joys of spring and the desire to mate or is this just a normal ringneck thing.
Will she be happy on her own?

Birds are great together, but birds will bond to birds and alot of the time, not so much to their human. If you really want to tame Dotty, I would suggest keeping her a single bird. This way she will bond to you and you will be her "mate".

If you notice that she is just really unhappy and you feel a bird friend would be better for her, then go for it. It really all depends on you and the bird!

stevie wonder thing? Is that where they put their head back and sway it? Cos I have found that Matches does this if she is under a fluroesent (cant spell) light. She sways her head cos it flickers through the bars when she does that...just being a dork.

Hi if you click the little blue box at the bottom of my post it should take you to a clip of Dotty doing it, its a funny angle but you should get the idea.
She puts her head sort of forwards and down a bit then makes this noise while swaying her head. She holds her winds out semi extended when she does it too.
I put it down to her being a girl as its different from the thing my brothers ringneck does who we think is a male, but you never know we could both be wrong.

I cant find out how to link to a video proparly all it gives me is a tiny little blue box with a question mark in it.
It goes to the clip if you click it, at least it does if i click it. The clip is in the photo and video section of the forum, its called Dotty.

I could only get a bit of the video but it just looks like some behaviour thing she does, my green cheek occasionally flicks her head when she squeaks but its just behavioural, and Matches gets down low and whines at objects but its just something she does...i think dotty is just doing something she thinks is fun.
