First nail trimming
We don't have a cement perch for Ace yet (we really need one!). When he came to me from the breeder back in June, I noticed his little nails were sharp! I thought my hands needed to just get used to them, and they did. But they have gotten so sharp its painful to hold him!
So I wrapped him in a towel and handed him to my husband. I clipped the sharp tips off of every nail. He did really good! Wiggled a little but not too bad. When we unwrapped him, he just wanted me to mush him, kiss him, and pet him. I put him on my shoulder and he would mush up against my face ![]() I was afraid he would be angry at me, but he wasnt! Maybe he will be just angry at my husband, since I made him hold him He is now enjoying a treat of mixed seed hehe.

Hahah that is too funny!!! If only Ace would start doing that! He wasn't too bad being bundled but I would love to find another way of doing it. I know when I had tiels growing up, the cement perch was enough so I didn't have to worry about it.
