SCARLEY'S FIRST TRIP TO PetSmart!

As you all know, I have been work some crazy hours and days and it's been interfering with my time with my fiddos. Well today, I went to PetSmart in Macon, that's about 35+ miles away. I made up my mind last night I would take Scarley and invited Tink and her Mother to go.
I was prepared for it all. Seat covers were covered with towels, back seat was covered, had a bottle of water and a dish for it. And snacks for the birds. LOL

The ride over was pleasant. Tink danced for us to the music. Scarley didn't bite me the first time...she was a good girl. She did get puffy at Tink and yelled and squawked her opinion about Tink getting on MY shoulder. that was a for tink to do. LOL

Glad we went! They had a great mark down on some great items. I bought some Kaytee popcorn treat cake thingies for $1.00 & $1.05. Tink's mom got her some pellets for $2.50. i got some parrot food for my sis n law for $4.00 that was marked down from $16! I got them both a new toy since I was expecting my box of goodies today from Bird Toys Big Beaks Bird Toys Parrot Toys Bird Toy Parts - More for me to make toys with so i didn't go crazy on the toys like I would love to have been able to!

Oh did we get asked a lot of questions about our birds. And I had to tell everyone right up front, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PET THIS BIRD! I didn't want them to get bit and more so, I didn't want to get bit!

After shopping we went to Sonic to eat. That way we could sit outside not in the car, and eat with the fiddos. Oh they loved the Avicakes I bought. They loved the tater tots we ordered with our meal! People were just sitting there staring at them in total amazement.

The ride home they preened and napped. I stopped off at a neighbor's house who has the most beautiful yard here, and asked if I could take pictures of Scarley out there. She thought it was the cutest thing! And the photos were::

Scarley is so good looking you could photograph her at the dump and her beauty would still shine through. Those are great pictures though. She has the most intense eyes.

This fountain didn't freak her out, it wasn't noisy like the bigger one. She was a good girl all day and by the time we took these pictures she was give out!

Aaawwwwwwwww.... Just look at Auntie Mabird's little lemon drop! What a beauty... (she takes after me, ya know... hahaha) I'm glad the two of you got to spend a day together having fun. Scarley needed mommy time, and mommy needed time doing ANYTHING but working... Scarley was a bonus!
I'm pretty darn happy for Tink, too!! She's lucky to have you showing her mommy how to be a better parront.
Glad you 4 girls had such a good time & got such good deals.
