I took Scarley outside yesterday with me to go sit in the swing and enjoy the cool breeze coming off the lake. It's hard to take pix of yourself ya know. LOL

Me n my wittle baby (don't mind the short short hair, new girl cut it and just did leave me enough!)

She is such a beauty. It's hard not to stare at her. How old was she when you got her? She was an adult already wasn't she?
Your hair looks cute. It really shows off your green eyes. I know it's hard to get used to new short hair. I got mine cut a little over a month ago and I'm still getting used to it but it's so much more comfortable in the heat. Since you live in the south, I'm sure know what I mean.
I'm guessing you love your new place. You're family/flock look like they have taken the move well.

Those pics came out great! I don't know why but when I take pics of myself and one of the birds I'm always disappointed in how I come out... Truth hurts, I guess!
Seriously though... I think these came out wonderful & the hair looks cool, too!

Scarley was about 2 yrs old when I got her. She is pushing 7 now and she's a joy and a terror as you know from my post. If Mabird and even Pooh lived a wittle closer, i would pack her butt up and let her go spend the night with them and give me a break!

Oh i went from hair down to my back to this short in 96. It hasn't gotten past my collar since. I love the short hair. Belive it or not I do have curly hair but not the tight curls that Mabird has. Mine are the big fluffy curls everyone wanted in the 80's! ANd man oh man it gets wild in the summer with the humidty. Right now it's a palm full of moose and I'm done with styling cos there isn't anything to do with it! LOL

Yes they have settled in nicely too. Oliver most of all! He is coming out of his shell more and more. Tonight he was bugger. Wouldn't go back to his cage!

I need to start wearing my mineral make up at least to cover the red splotches on my face. the sun is starting to bring out freckles too!

I had more pix but....my 80 chins were just noticable! hahahaha

I see nothing wrong with your pix. My favorite pix of you is cuddling Harley.

Yeah well I think shawn has more hair than me now! HAHA

I use bare minerals to cover my redness, too, lol.

Funny, I never see anything wrong with your pics, either... I think it's just that natural tendency to cut one's own self up!

THAT'S exactly why I don't like the pics I take of myself... all those damn chins!
