I would say too loud, and do you really want to hear those sounds at that pitch all the time? How about TV show theme songs?

Hi Thanks for the imput. I will make she so as not to scare my bird. Your finches are lovely are they hard to care for? ]

originally i thought that sort of whistle might of been ok because its sort of similar to the sound she makes anyway.
However I did think it it might be abit loud too.
WHAT songs would be good to teach her do you think. Should i get a c.d with wistles on it?

she responds well to whistles but doesnt speak i think she said hello once but knowone believes me apart from my friend hellen.

My sister thinks my bird is stupid and i am trying to show her this is NOT the case!

it must be fun to have two birds, i have one who is one and a half that i love dearly struggling to use a clicker to train her because i have cerebral palsey, so my left hand is weak cant squease the clicker fast enough.

I am doing exercises to make my hand stronger though.

no pain no gain it will be with it eventually.

The finches aren't that hard to take care of. They do require some special care, but don't all birds??

I would try a training CD and loop the whistle that you want to hear.
