Unhappy Help!

Please Help!

Kiwi is our 13 year old, female, IRN. She has always been head strong but her attitude has really deteriorated. She is chirping constantly and loudly, but if I put her on my shoulder or in her night time cage, she is quiet.

Here is some more information that may be relevant. As I mentioned she does have a night time cage and a day time cage. This is something we started when she was very young. She chirps when she is ready to wake up, which is usually between 7am and 8am. Then she chirps to let us know when she wants to go to bed, which is usually between 5-6pm. We do spoil her but maintain a good diet of harrisons bird food, fruit, nuts, bread, etc. Until now she has been an only child. On A few weeks ago we brought home our first human baby. She isn't sure what to make of her yet. We try to show her as much attention as our baby, but there is no doubt our schedule and routines have changed. She never really cared for traditional bird toys, but loves news paper and boxes to chew up.

We love her to pieces, but her constant chirping has to stop. What can we do?
