Baby Derbyan

Looking forward to this little guy joining us in a couple of months...I love those ginormous feet!

They kind of grow into them, but they have impressive beaks as adults too :)

very striking as adults. I love the markings. gotta respect that beak though! I have an Alex, her pointy beak has taught me a lesson about messing with the food dish a couple times. I'd rather get bitten by my amazon than her. At least they only use the beak to warn you away, she's very docile otherwise. I don't know anything about derbyan's, looking forward to updates, stories and more pics.
